I use a unique step-by-step demonstration technique to teach women strategic placement using the rig It all started for me at the age of 5.
My first makeup kit was a Faber Castell box of 24 Oil Pastels. The pastels were so creamy that I would blend them on my cheeks, lips and eyes to 'design my looks'. My mother (who wouldn't start her day without her full face of makeup) decided it was time to give me her old Chanel and Guerlain makeup to play with instead. But it would be a longtime before I learned there was a job out there called
"Makeup Artistry". As a teen, I was insecure about my looks, namely a bump on my nose. As I continued to play and experiment with makeup, I recognized the power it gave me to feel proud of my face. I saw makeup as more than just fun colors and form of expression. It had the magical ability to turn a negative into a positive. I wanted to help other people not by changing the way they look, but changing the way they look at themselves. I began my hair and makeup career in Australia, and now together with my husband and our two little boys, we live and work abroad. I love immersing myself in diverse cultures and exploring all ideas of beauty from around the globe. It has taught me humility and the value of adapting to a changing environment.
