A common question I get is why I don’t start with the braiding hair right away.
For my Fulani braids, I first begin each braid using my client’s natural hair. Once the braid is established, I gradually feed in the extension hair. This feed-in technique helps distribute tension more evenly, creating a smoother, more natural-looking braid while reducing unnecessary stress on the hairline and edges.
Every client’s hair is unique, so my goal is always to create a beautiful style while keeping the health of your natural hair a priority.
