🌱✨ LIZ’S LEGACY HOMESTEAD — A TRUE MUST-EXPERIENCE! ✨🌱

When I say this experience was EVERYTHING… it truly was. Serenity. Peace. Pure joy. And most importantly, an experience you simply have to have for yourself. 🫶🏼☀️

From beginning to end, Liz’s Legacy Homestead was filled with education, hospitality, hands-on experiences, and so much intention.

🌿 We learned about the different plants, fruits, and vegetables growing throughout the garden—not just seeing them, but understanding them.

🐣 Then came the livestock experience! We learned about the quails, their eggs, the chickens and their coops, and even the different stages of a chicken’s life. We met the “teenagers” and learned how they are gradually introduced to the adult chickens. It was fascinating to see how much thought and care goes into every part of the homestead.

🐟 And then…the koi pond. PURE PEACE. Listening to the water ripple while watching the fish gracefully glide by was one of those moments where you could simply be present, enjoy the company around you, and take it all in.

But the experience didn’t stop there!

🌱 The children had their own special experience—coloring, planting their very own bean seed, and learning about the circle of life of a bean plant through a worksheet they could color, personalize, and take home with them.

🍅 We were also able to take some of the fresh produce home to our families, allowing us to continue the experience and share a little piece of Liz’s Legacy Homestead with them.

It wasn’t simply a visit to a homestead. It was an opportunity to learn, experience, create, connect, and find a little peace along the way.

Everything was thoughtfully done—from the education to the hospitality to the activities and gifts.

What an experience from start to finish! 🫶🏼☀️

One of the highlights was being able to sample fresh goodies straight from the garden! We tried raspberries and black grapes, and I had never tried black grapes before! 🍇 It was such a simple moment, but truly an AMAZING experience—being able to pick something fresh and enjoy it right there made it even more special.

A huge THANK YOU to Tasha for inviting us into the garden and allowing us to experience a piece of Liz’s Legacy Homestead. And a special thank you to her apprentice, Nikki, for showing us the way, picking fresh goodies, and making sure we got the FULL experience! 🌿🫶🏼

It was peaceful. It was beautiful. It was an experience.

Saturday, September 5th, the Laurel Wildcats came ready for GAME DAY—and what an amazing day it was from start to finish! 🙌🏽

From everyone working hard on the field, to those putting in the work off the field, behind the scenes, and everywhere in between—THANK YOU! 💙🤍🩶

It takes an entire community to make moments like these happen, and we are truly grateful for every coach, athlete, parent, volunteer, board member, supporter, and helping hand that continues to pour into our Wildcats.

Most importantly, let’s keep POURING INTO OUR CHILDREN—encouraging them, teaching them, supporting them, and giving them opportunities to SHINE BRIGHT and MAKE BIG THINGS HAPPEN FOR THEMSELVES! 🌟

This is only the beginning! Let’s keep showing up, working together, and SETTING THE TONE! 💙🤍🩶🐾
