Robert Mapplethorpe transformed flowers into something sculptural, sensual, and quietly dramatic. His black-and-white photography strips away color, allowing every curve, shadow, and delicate detail to take center stage—proof that a single flower can feel both timeless and provocative.
We have so much love for our current space and location, and all the memories we have made. Unfortunately after 18 years, 2120 2nd Ave is simply no longer able to support what Spa Noir needs to grow and thrive. The need for a new home came along sooner, and the move is happening a lot faster than we ever expected. It’s incredibly exciting, but it also means we’re pulling together a big transition on a very short timeline. The great news is we found a beautiful location just one block south from where Spa Noir currently resides, so we can continue to be your favorite Belltown Spa!

Labor Day is more than the unofficial end of summer—it honors the workers who fought for fair wages, safer workplaces and reasonable hours. Women were central to that fight. From the Lowell Female Labor Reform Association founded in 1845 to the thousands of women garment and laundry workers who organized and went on strike, women helped transform American labor history.
In 1920, the U.S. Department of Labor established the Women’s Bureau to protect the interests of wage-earning women—and the work continues today. This Labor Day, we celebrate the women whose paid and unpaid labor keeps our families, businesses and communities moving forward
