According to reports, a young woman identified as Favour Agbro from Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State was allegedly deceived by a popular content creator based in Asaba who claimed to train young people on how to monetize their TikTok and Facebook accounts, grow their audience, and earn income online.

It is alleged that after Favour contacted him, he invited her to Asaba, promising to mentor and assist her.

Before making the trip, she reportedly made it clear during their WhatsApp conversations that she was a virgin and was not interested in any romantic or sexual relationship.

He allegedly assured her that the meeting was strictly for training and that he conducted his sessions in a hotel.

However, upon her arrival, the situation allegedly took a tragic turn. It is claimed that he took her into a room, overpowered her, covered her mouth, and r***d her despite her resistance. Reports further allege that the assault left her bleeding heavily, and that she was not provided with food, medical attention, or any form of care afterward.

Distressed by the incident, Favour reportedly called her twin sister and informed her of what had happened. She also contacted her mother, who sent her money for transportation so she could return home to Warri.

After returning home, she reportedly sought help from an activist. According to the account, she was told that because the accused was influential, little could be done despite providing details of the alleged assault.

The emotional trauma is said to have become overwhelming. According to the report, Favour later purchased a poisonous substance and died by su***de. ゚
