I’m beyond grateful to be featured in Voyage Raleigh Magazine and to share my journey in their “Daily Inspiration” series. Their mission is all about highlighting creatives, entrepreneurs, and small business owners who bring life to our communities—and I’m thankful to be one of those stories.

My journey in the beauty industry, especially specializing in locs, has been built on faith, consistency, and believing in myself even when the beginning was challenging. Starting out, it wasn’t about the money—it was about building, learning, growing, and showing people what I was capable of.

As a mother, entrepreneur, and woman of purpose, I’ve learned that success comes from staying teachable, pushing through obstacles, and trusting God through every season. Every client, every late night, every lesson—it all shaped the woman and business owner I am today.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but I know this is only the beginning.
