I started with a full highlight, doing high impact Blonding.
Pro tip. When I’m working with a small amount of grow out, I love to use a shorter foil to keep the placement close and tight.
Prepping the hair with K18 Hair
Lightener Goldwell US Silk Lift Strong 20 vol
Gloss Colorance 10bs/Clear
After processing, I like to pull my foils and gently brush through the hair. This softly shifts any pigment in the base color.

Red wasn’t her goal! He w would you have corrected it?
This post is not meant to put down anyone else’s work. I believe we all try our best to please a client and are disappointed when it doesn’t go as planned.
Here is what I did!
The hair had been previously highlighted , glossed too warm and then color removed. And glossed again too dark. Thats how she got to this red brassy tone.
Her hair’s integrity was my main focus so I started the service with K18 Hair
I applied a full head of Airtouch highlights in a v pattern. Low and slow. With Silk Lift Strong 10 vol.
The hairlines already had breakage so I just did wet Balayage on some previously light pieces around her face.
All over gloss with Gloss Tones 7NP, 8N, 8BB
I had to double tone. Same formula processing for 10 minutes.
Although the red was gone, we know it’s still hiding underneath. So maintenance glossing and good home care are essential.

Using Goldwell US Light Dimensions, lightning, and toning system!
It started with high impact Blonding using Silk Lift Strong 20 vol.
I did a base break mid to ends with Goldwell Brightener and 10 vol.
I broke the base with TopChic 10N 15 vol.
I melted the two formulas together. It only process for 3 to 4 minutes after application.
