Cancer have a unique way of dealing with difficult emotions because they do not always need someone else to fix what they are feeling. When they are hurt, overwhelmed, or simply not in the mood to be around people, they often retreat into their own little world where they can process everything at their own pace. It is not that they do not appreciate support, it is that their emotions are so personal that they sometimes need quiet before they can even explain what is happening. Cancer can disappear for a while, replay memories, listen to music, daydream, and slowly put themselves back together without anyone noticing the process. Their alone time is where they heal, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. They may seem overly emotional for needing so much space, but for them, solitude is not loneliness, it is comfort.
