I need a catchy name for the Hawaii destination tattoo giveaway!!

What do you suggest?

One year ago today I took over the day to day operations of WickedFast after the sudden passing of a man who was like a brother to me at one point in our journey.

We built WickedFast together from 2017 on. There were some great times and there were some extremely difficult ones. We went from friends, to business partners, to family, to more than family, to an almost complete falling out in everything except the daily operations of the business.

My wife and I funded the dreams of someone we considered family. We even welcomed one of his daughters into our home as an extension of that closeness. With the exception of one, every product WickedFast sells today were created with our partnership. We had BIG DREAMS for what WickedFast could become. And we all worked together to make that happen.

Sadly, there were saboteurs on the journey. There have been saboteurs since his passing. Havoc always made this business look like a bigger operation (just like his big personality!) than it actually was. It was he and I (I was very part time) and a few people who lended help and support when they could, how they could. So when news of his passing found its way to us (after not hearing from him for a few days and reaching out to my various contacts who talked to him when he didn’t respond to me), I knew the only person who could keep WickedFast alive after its founder died was me. If you knew Havoc you knew WickedFast and his daughters. They were all his life’s work. It would’ve been incredibly sad to see the business die along with him. And I maintained hope there was still the possibility of the business being successful.

So I put my foot in the ground and made the decision to move forward. One year later the business is stronger than it has ever been. I would’ve loved to have shared this progress with Havoc. That was the dream. Create something amazing we could use to support our families and something we could leave to our kids. Unfortunately he won’t get to see it, but I hope I can continue to make it happen.

If you still want to support those dreams, we are here for you. If your support of WickedFast died when I took over, that is well within your right. But please understand something, regardless of what you believe (or have heard) no one else was equipped to run this business.

The product is exactly the same, better from my POV. And it’s still made in the Bootheel!!

This weekend we hit our first major show since early 2023 and I’m excited for the progress.

RIP my boy. You are deeply missed by so many. I’m sorry we weren’t on better terms when you left. I miss the dreams.

I’ll keep THIS dream alive!!

Returning to the convention circuit next month!
