Let’s talk brow laminations for a second. What does aftercare look like when you leave the studio? When can you do it again?

Do not get freshly laminated brows wet for 24 hours (48 if you can manage that). Brow laminations are essentially a perm. They are a chemical process. Your brow hairs could become dry, and that’s normal. To remedy that, I always suggest jojoba oil or a high quality olive oil, brushed through your brows daily. No 🚫Castor oil. No 🚫 coconut oil. Those oils are too dense to be absorbed properly. The intention is to condition the brows, not make them shiny.

You can laminate again in EIGHT weeks. That’s right, eight. Many product lines recommend 6, but based on my experience, and what I’ve seen, my clients do 8 weeks. If you process any already permed brow hairs, they can over process, leading to breakage and damage. You don’t want that, so we wait for all new growth.

Finally, You should also schedule a K-18 treatment, brow clean up, and possible re-tint at your 4 week mark.

Happy laminating! 🖤🌵

If you’re using retinols or Accutane, threading or tweezing are your only options for eyebrow maintenance.
