Thank you for your patience, love, support, and trust through the years. Words can’t explain how grateful we are to our village as we navigate this exciting new chapter! We’ve been so lucky not only to receive so many gifts for our daughter but also great advice, words of encouragement, prayers, & good vibes. 🫶🏼

✨ Maternity Leave starts now.
✨ Expected Return: Late September-Early October 2026 (I’ll be sharing my official reopening date as it gets closer.)
✨My schedule will be very limited coming back as I will only be available Mondays & Saturdays, possibly adding additional days around the holidays.
✨As always if anything changes I will be making a post on here and/or contacting all my regular clients who either have pre booked appointments and everyone on the waiting list as well.
✨My DMs are always open for any questions including recommendations on who to visit for a wax while I’m gone.

While I’m out I’ll also be quietly celebrating 6 months of Aether Beauty Collective being open, & Piel Canela Waxing turning 2 years old 🎉

I hope you guys have an amazing back to school end of summer season, I can’t wait to get back in the studio and continue making brows and Brazilians dreams happen! 💕

✨ Waxing 101: Let’s Talk Histamine Reactions ✨
Noticed a little redness or tiny bumps after your brow wax? Don’t worry—this is often a normal histamine reaction! It’s simply your skin’s natural response to hair removal and usually subsides within a few hours.

To help prevent & treat:
🌼 avoid exfoliating before your appointment
🌼arrive with clean skin
🌼always let me know if anything changed in your intake form,(you’re using new products, you got a facial recently, using new medications, etc.)
🌼avoid touching the area
🌼use a skin protectant ointment (I always have individual packets available for you in studio)
🌼avoid excessive heat, workouts, and sweating
🌼do not use harsh skincare products the next 24 hours

A little reaction is normal, and with proper aftercare, your fresh brows will be looking their best in no time. 🤍
