🕊️ George E. Johnson, the pioneering founder of Johnson Products and a trailblazer in Black entrepreneurship, has died at 99. Rising from humble beginnings in Mississippi, he built the company behind iconic brands like Ultra Sheen and Afro Sheen, became the first Black-owned company listed on the American Stock Exchange, and helped bring Soul Train to national television while creating opportunities for generations of Black professionals. May he Rest in Peace
