Let's talk about~ ✨🧚🏻♀️The Fae 🧚🏻♀️✨
The Fae are ancient beings from Celtic, Norse & Western European Folklore & Mythology.
The Fae—also known as fairies, faeries, or the Fair Folk—are an ancient and very diverse group of supernatural, magical beings rooted in folklore across Europe & Scandinavia.
They are not a single species, but a broad category for non-human entities linked to mythology.
What Are the Fae Like? Let's delve in!
Appearance*
Traditional folklore describes the Fae as human-sized or varying greatly in shape, rather than simply tiny, winged creatures.
The modern concept of the tiny fairy comes from the children's stories primarily from the Victorian Era.
Where do they dwell & what are they like?
They are thought to be neither purely good nor evil, but are bound by strict, often strange rules, bargains, & taboos.
Where do they live?
They live in the "Otherworld," a parallel realm only accessible through natural and liminal spaces like hills, fairy mounds, ancient barrows, caves, rocks, waterways and deep forests.
What are their traditions & types?
Aos Sí~
In Irish , Norse & Western European mythology, these are the "people of the fairy mounds," considered immortal ancestors or nature spirits.
How are they structured?
Seelie and Unseelie Courts~
Scottish folklore divides the Fae into the Seelie Court consider kind, helpful & natural. Helpful & protective. An example would be protecting your home from negative energies or healing your crops & sick animals.
The Unseelie Court ~ are the dark, mischievous & even dangerous kind. Examples would be stealing children. Attacking your animals, breaking your belongings or making you sickly. What are the elementals?
Mythology states they are considered to be household spirits like brownies, nature guardians like dryads, and elemental beings tied to earth, air, fire, and water.
In Norse Mythology they are called the 'Landvettir' and are thought to live in caves, rocks, mounds, waterways, trees, barns & even in homes. These beings are honored and feared!
If you wanted a good & bountiful crop or healthy animals you would gift offerings to these beings to appease them.
Beings considered to be of The Fae*
Faeries, gnomes, elves, sprites, mermaids, unicorns, dragons & dwarves.
Have you ever seen a Fae?
Have you ever found a Faery Circle?

Happy Thor's Day!!!
In honor of today ~ Let's talk about Thor's Hammer ~ Mjolnir
According to mythology & legend Thor's hammer, known as Mjölnir, is the magical and devastating weapon of the Norse thunder god, created because of a mischievous prank by Loki, which is a common theme for Loki, hence being referred to as 'The Prankster' or 'Trickster' God.
How Mjölnir Was Made~
The Prank*
Loki cut off the golden hair of Sif, Thor's wife. Her hair was said to be the most beautiful hair in all of Asgard. It was so long it dragged the floor behind her & shone like the sun.
Thor's Reaction*
An enraged Thor threatened to kill Loki, who promised to replace it with magical golden hair made by the dwarves.
The Tricksters Wager*
Loki visited rival dwarven smiths, the sons of Ivaldi and the brothers Brokkr and Sindri (Eitri), boasting they could not make better treasures.
The Trick that Sabotaged them*
While Sindri forged the final piece, Loki transformed into a horse fly and bit the bellows-operator Brokkr to ruin the work.
The Flaw in Mjolnir*
Because of a bite on the eyelid, Brokkr stopped briefly, leaving Mjölnir with a famously short handle.
Despite this, the gods named it their greatest weapon against the giants.
Mjölnir's Powers*
Never Misses it's mark*
The hammer always hits its mark when thrown and returns straight to Thor's hand like a boomerang.
It changes size*
It can shrink down small enough to hide inside a tunic. Which is why many followers wear jewelry or adornments depicting the legendary hammer.
Destruction AND Blessings*
It can shatter mountains, summon thunder and lightning, and sanctify weddings, births, and funerals.
Legends or stories in the Sagas containing Mjölnir~
The Theft*
In the famous poem Þrymskviða, the giant Thrym steals Mjölnir and buries it deep underground, demanding the goddess Freyja as his bride for its return.
Thors Disguise*
Refusing to go, Freyja flies into a rage, so the clever god Heimdall suggests Thor dress up as the bride wearing heavy bridal veils.
The Trick:
Thor travels to the giant's hall, with Loki, he nearly gives himself away by eating an entire ox and drinking massive casks of mead, but recovers when Loki claims "Freyja" hasn't slept in days so she's haggard, hungry & thirsty
The Final Showdown*
When Thrym brings out Mjölnir to bless the wedding ceremony, Thor grabs the hammer, throws off his disguise, and kills Thrym and all of the attending giants.

Let's talk about Tarot ~ ✨The Devil✨
The #15 card in the Major Arcana is The Devil ~ it depicts a horned creature (some consider as Baphomet) seated above 2 humans, loosely chained. The visual symbolism is clear.
That is that entrapment is only an illusion. The chains are loose & can easily be removed at any time. The two figures have 'tails'; one of grapes & the other fire symbolizing base desires & temptations. The key messages or words are bo***ge, addictions & temptations, but that these things are controlled by you. You can drop those chains of bo***ge easily & free yourself from them if you choose to.

Let's talk about the difference between Black Salt and Banishing Powder, and let's make some together!
🖤 Black salt consists of cauldron remains, incense ash, burnt petitions or bay leaves, protection herbs such as rosemary, Clove, bay leaves, star anise, yarror, cinnamon, mugwort (and many more- use whatever herb or plant you feel called to use with that correspondence), and salt. You can use coarse salt, pink Himalayan salt, sea salt, table salt if that is what you have and can spare.
✨️Uses of black salt are: protection and cleansing, to create a barrier against negative energy or entites, sprinkle it over window and door ledges to protect the space, around the perimeter of your property, I spell jars for protection, to make sachets, to add to dream pillows to protect your dreams, to add to car charms to aid in protecting you on the go.
🌑 Banishing Powder consists of black salt, spicy herbs or spices like chili powder, cumin, cayenne, black pepper, horehound, wormwood, Angelica and many more.
✨️Uses of Banishing Powder are: getting rid of energy that no longer aligns with your highest good, breaking bad habits, warding off negative entites that are inhabiting your space, Banishing anything that you do not want in your energetic field, home, or surrounding you.
While black salt protects you, your home or space, and your energy, Banishing Powder moves that energy out and assures that it will not return. Use them together for when you cleanse, protect, and wars your home, or when creating energetic boundaries.
As always, if you have any questions please let us know.
