A well tuned instrument plays its best. When time is taken to tighten the strings, adjust the levels and find tune the pitch, the instrument rewards its listeners by playing at its fullest potential.
Well, what if the one handling the instrument spent as much time into tuning themselves?
Imagine the magic and synchronicity that happens when both the musician and instrument come together, fully aligned and ready to shine.

This work found me.
It was 2007. I was 19—a college dropout, directionless, and uninspired. I had started delivering auto parts for NAPA and had settled into a kind of contentment that dulled any drive to find my path.
With a gentle nudge from my mom, I attended an open house at a local massage therapy school. The moment I walked through the doors of the old elementary school turned Cortiva Institute of Massage, I knew I was heading in the right direction.
I’ve always had a deep desire to help people. This work has made that dream a reality. There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping someone feel better in their body.
Nearly 18 years later, I have zero regrets. I’ve had the privilege of working for inspiring mentors, collaborating with incredible practitioners, and—my favorite part of all—serving the most amazing clients.
I’ve been serving the Colorado Springs region since 2012, and some clients have been with me the entire time. Eventually, clients become like family—sharing in the joys and sorrows of this wild ride we call life.
Today, I’m expressing deep gratitude—for this work, for the ability to provide it, and for every soul who has trusted me along the way.
