Everyone’s been posting about #2016, but going through my photos reminded me of the best part of that year — graduating cosmetology school and earning my NYS Cosmetology License.

In the last 10 years, I’ve met so many incredible women (from athletes to actresses), worked red carpets and NY Fashion Week, written beauty blogs, led photoshoots and ad campaigns, and done thousands of blowouts and braids. And honestly… I feel like I’m just getting started 😏

To think it all began in Mini Dorm room 115 and one question from .shonda :
“Why don’t you go to cosmetology school?”
