Fun Fact!

The earliest haircolors were extracted from plants.

Another cool, useful thing to know, is that when we lighten hair, we don’t actually remove pigment, we shrink the pigment until it’s no longer visible to the eye.
So, when we say our hair is “brassy,” that’s the pigment starting to expand & exposing color again. Isn’t that cool?!
