Shea butter is one of those ingredients I really enjoy using in handmade soap. It’s naturally rich in fatty acids and vitamins and adds a nice creamy feel to the lather.
I also added Haitian castor oil, better known as Lwil Maskriti 🇭🇹, which makes this soap a little extra special to me. It’s an ingredient that has been used in Haitian households for generations, so I love being able to incorporate it into something I make.
