Most people think you need to be a hairstylist, barber, or already in the beauty industry to get started… you don’t. ❌
This is one of the biggest opportunities in the beauty business right now and the model is actually very simple when you break it down:
STEP 1️⃣
Find a commercial space around 2,000–5,000 sq ft using sites like Craigslist or LoopNet.
STEP 2️⃣
Build the space out into 10–20 salon suites. Every square foot matters. The goal is to create multiple income-producing suites inside one location.
STEP 3️⃣
Rent each suite out to beauty professionals and collect weekly rent.
Example: 20 suites x $250/week 👀💰

I love how she used her own personal journey to showcase her salon suite. That’s what people connect with. They don’t just lease a suite, they connect with the person behind the brand, behind the chair. 🤝✨
What really stood out to me wasn’t just her marketing... it was her story.
There was a time she questioned if this career was even for her. She had moments of doubt, moments where she wondered if she should keep going. But instead of quitting, she chose herself. She chose to believe in herself one more time. And that’s the difference.
As a hairstylist, barber, lash tech, nail tech, esthetician, or any entrepreneur, you’ll have great days and you’ll have tough days. There will be slow weeks, difficult clients, moments where you wonder if all the hard work is worth it.
Keep going.
Most people don’t fail... they just quit too soon.
It’s okay to pause. It’s okay to start again. Just make sure that if this is something you truly want, you never give up. Your timeline doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Progress is still progress, no matter how slow it feels.
Success isn’t about never struggling. It’s about refusing to stop. Every setback is preparing you for the breakthrough you’ve been praying for.
Bet on yourself. Believe in yourself. Keep showing up even when it’s hard. One day you’ll look back and realize the season that almost made you quit was the same season that made you who you are.
