Expectation in the first slide… reality in the second… final result photo was taken outdoors, but under indoor lighting was a near exact match.

One year ago at this time, I would be arriving home from my first day working at Jon-Claud Salon after leaving the place I worked for over seven years.

This was a very big leap of faith for me, as I do not like change, I have spent most of my life fearing it. But this time, I embraced it, I embodied this change in a way that brought me peace.

I was hopeful. I was hopeful that my clients admired my craft and valued their time with me as much as I valued and appreciated their continued support and that they would follow me to my new home… and I discovered I had more loyal supporters than I ever imagined. To all of you who followed me, all of you who referred a friend or a family member, I thank you. My gratitude towards you all can only be described as infinite.

This transition from one place to another would present me with a personal challenge in less than a week’s time, my mother would endure a major health concern, to those of you who so graciously observed patience with me when I moved your appointment, or forgoed a blowdry so I could leave early, or I was a couple minutes late to the salon in the morning. I genuinely cannot thank you enough. My mother made a full recovery, she is well, and I thank the universe for not taking her from me every day.

Life has a funny way of working out when you manifest it. The last year has worked out for me in so many ways, and professionally has been the best one yet.

Thank you to John & Claudia for taking a chance on me and inviting me to join your team, and thank you to Judy for being my gateway into a fresh start.
