I’ve been getting so many questions about how often you should get a trim, and the answer really depends on what your hair needs! 💕

A good rule of thumb is to schedule a trim every 6–12 weeks to help maintain healthy-looking ends. After that, we’re getting into haircut territory. 😉

I always like to use an 🍎 apple as a visual:

Once you take a bite out of an apple, the exposed area begins to change and wither over time. Your hair ends can be similar! With everyday wear and tear, our ends can become dry, weak, and begin to split.

✂️ The goal is maintenance!
Staying on top of your trims can help prevent those split ends from traveling farther up the strand and potentially requiring a more significant cut later.
