Journey / Success Story:
My name is Zayn Uppal, i am a business graduate from Szabist and a gold medalist in marketing. Having 6 years of working as a brand manager at an fmcg brand . Now running a full fledged salon having my expertise in hair and makeup. I have learnt hairdressing from Lebanon. I had no idea that i am going to land in a field which wasn't my forte, but being a business graduate i know i can operate it as a business.
One day a through an advertisement at facebook i had gone through makeup class i joined it for fun, i never knew that makeup class would encourage me to setup a room and work as a freelancer.
I worked as a freelance makeup artist with my job. A month after one of my clients started a conversation about business and how i can add up more services to make it a salon. It was a random discussion then and similar happened with my husband. Upon listening he suddenly said why can't you , and the rest is history. I resigned from my job, did more courses in hair, salon services , started hiring people to work with me and finally started the salon.
Above was only the trailer which seemed to be a piece of cake, but in reality it wasn't i had to go through several hurdles at salon and home.
Working was my choice for this choice I can't let my responsibilities and family suffer but being in two ships made my life very busy and yet tiring.
Home was not something very difficult to manage but the real challenge was the salon, it seems very easy to hire people and they ll work on the client, where in reality its not.

However after a hard struggle of 6 years alhumdulillah i have engraved my name in the field of Hair Artistry.
Hard work always pays off . Its just one should leave anything in the middle. I have had many international certifications, and workings . Participated as a Hair & Makeup artist for IPPA Awards held in turkey in 2021. Alhumdulillah Running a successful Business in Karachi.
