FADING PERSISTENCE

A hazy ghost of what it used to be.

A look at my FDI mini thesis collection. This project is about capturing the flowers/plants you get as gifts, even after the plant completely dies, preserving their raw botanical structure because it holds onto memories that shouldn't be forgotten. It’s about merging the science of a botanical archive with pure emotion and finding a way to make fragile, dead petals hold their form permanently so the memory never fades.
