Admiring this beautiful view. ✨️
Last year we went to a lot of beautiful places and it never really got to grace my IG feed. It just lived in my stories... just because of my "never good enough" mindset.
But now that I am trying to show up for myself in this platform, I'll post a little bit of them here and there. So if you are seeing this right now, no, I'm not here, but I wish I was again 😄

39. 🎂
A milestone that feels very real, very adult, and yet...
I’m still figuring it out day by day.
If you read through the slides, thank you for holding space for my raw honesty today.
It is terrifying to admit that things are just 'OK' or that life feels messy, but I am learning that authenticity is better than a filtered illusion.
My life might be a beautiful juggle right now, but my dedication to making women feel seen, safe, and breathtakingly beautiful is absolute.
When you sit in my makeup chair, my almost 16 years of passion are entirely yours.
Thank you for the birthday wishes, the love, and for riding this wave with me.
If you want to book a calm, clean, relaxed, and natural home-service session for your next big event, my inbox is always open. 🤍✨

14 years on this app, and I’m finally entering my IDGAF era. 😆✨
For the longest time, the pressure to have an ultra-curated, "perfect" feed kept me hiding behind the scenes. I let the fear of being seen hold me back from just sharing me.
But as I inch closer to 40, I'm officially letting go of the performance.
👉 Swipe through to read my full brain dump on why I'm starting over, ditching the influencer aesthetic, and embracing the cringe.
More than anything, I want this space to be fun again and not treat it as a chore. Share what lights me up or just random things like how I did in 2012...
If showing up here as my messy, authentic self inspires another woman—kahit isa lang!—to face her own fears of being seen, then stepping out of my comfort zone is 100% worth it.
We do not have to be perfect to show up in the world. ❤️
(note to self din to)
If you’re also tired of the pressure to be "aesthetic" online and just want some real, authentic connection—you are in the right place.
Follow along and join me as we keep it real and gloriously messy!
Drop a 👋 in the comments if you're ready to face your fears and ride the "messy and authentic" wave with me!

Gift Ideas for your god daughters 😍
I am so grateful that aside from her own special events, my client has also been gifting my service to her girl inaanaks who attend their grad ball. 🥰
This is her 2nd time gifting my service.
The first inaanak was 3 years ago, as seen in the 2nd to last photo. (Thank you Jazel!)
Yesterday was for her other inaanak, Pilar.
She also informed me that Pilar won Belle of the Ball last night.🤩
Congratulations, Pilar!
Such a cool ninang, gifting my service to her godchildren so I can be their fairy godmother for a night. ❤️
If you need a fairy godmother for your god daughters or your own daughters, DM me so I can help you out! ❤️

A lot of people think na dahil makeup artist ako, I let my daughters wear makeup.
Contrary to popular belief, I don't!
because I want my kids to be kids.. and using make up can wait until later, later, later... pag mga 20 na sila 🤣 kidding, maybe mga 18 🤔😅😂
You see, I am an advocate for prolonging my children's childhood, because it is such a short, short window that I get to experience them as kids. The era that I will miss the most.😭 And it's bittersweet that for my kids, its about to end.
I have a few more years to cherish their childhood with them.
So yes, the makeup can wait, and they understand it too so they don't really bug me about it. I even told them that I will be the one who will teach them when the time comes, they just have to trust me and wait for it.
I am grateful that one of the advantages of being homeschooled too is that they are not exposed to the influence of Sephora😉😆 (you get the drift)
They see me putting on makeup as a normal thing so I guess makukuha rin nila yun from me eventually.
But for this specific milestone, finishing elementary school, I indulged my almost 12 year old daughter with her request.
I just usually allow liptint and nothing else.
But for her graduation, she requested for a bit more and I said yes when I would usually say no 🙃😃
So yesterday, I curled her lashes, put mascara, a tiny bit of eyeliner and a tiny bit of glitter eyeshadow, blush and lip tint. The lip oil that made her lips shiny was her own doing.
What I used on me, I used on her too kaya same ng shade 😆
It's also a forte of mine to not make them look older than their age..
as you can see my own daughter modeling my work 😉
And it deserves a post on my IG feed.
Congratulations to this little lady 🎉
we are so, so proud of you!!
It's such a joy and a blessing to have front row seats in watching you grow and a privilege to see all the different versions of you 🤩
We will always be here for you my favorite first born 😉❤️😘
Love, mommy ❤️
A set of selfies coming your way, giving myself permission to be cringe.🙈😉😆
this is my way of slowly taking up space here in the internet 😄
If it isnt your cup of tea, you may just scroll past it. ⏭️
If we were friends during my teenage years up until my 20s, we'd have a million selfies in my Sony Ericsson phone and Canon Digicam.
I've already been doing this even before the term "selfie" was even coined. 😆 (some friends can attest to this)
Before Iphones/Samsungs came out, I used my trusty digicam and wala pang flip screens nun and not to brag, but I'd have the perfect shot every time. 😉
And I posted them all on Multiply!
(If you know what that is, hello fellow millennial)
but too bad I was not able to download the photos so it's now lost in the interwebs haha
But somewhere along the way some people would tease me about my selfie "obsession" (and if you didn't really have a solid sense of self, you'd change yourself because of the shame..)
so nahiya nako mag picture 😅😆
I think this shame was also what held me back in posting all these years...and ngayon ko lang siya inaaddress...
but now that I am almost 40 (yes, I said my age out loud and proud),
I think it's high time to embrace this part of me again.
Regardless of what other people say or think.
I like taking pictures of myself (how vain, IKR). And I am learning to love, accept, and slightly show the internet that part of me now. 😅
Sa haba ng kwento ko, gusto ko lang naman ishare yung makeup ko sa selfie na to. 😆 so if you reached the end, you'll get the deets 😄
Most of them are local PH makeup and I'll list them below:
Face:
active skin stick in fawn
fresh filter concealer in cremecosmetics blur base in mati and colourbounce in luv
Eyes:
brow detailing pen in taupe brown
precision fluid liner in smoked brown
sky high mascara
Lips:
Lip stain - sorry I forgot the brand because I depotted it.
solid lip gloss in G03
First three selfies are freshly applied at 10am last three selfies are at 4pm with no retouch.
'till the next selfie(s) h

Low Stakes Series: Episode 3 ✨
Posting this uncurated, unfiltered photo of some pink flowers outside my house just because...
It’s funny how we can spend years in our careers—learning to appreciate natural beauty, authentic moments, and the importance of just making people feel like themselves—only to hold ourselves to impossibly rigid standards online.
For a long time, my perfectionism told me that if it wasn't studio-quality, it didn't belong on the feed. (Still working on this at the moment)
But just like the best makeup enhances who you naturally are rather than masking it, I'm trying to let my online presence be just as real.
Today, I’m putting the perfectionism on pause and sharing some thoughts on the messy middle. Swipe through to read.
Let me know in the comments: are you a chronic draft-deleter too? 🙈
Let’s normalize the messy middle together.
Drop a ✋ in the comments if you’re choosing progress over perfection today!
Practicing being seen, one post at a time. 🎨
In my 15 years as a makeup artist, I’ve always found peace in the process—the quiet science of skin prep, the pigments of the powders, the texture of liquids and creams, the way the brushes hit the skin, and the way colors blend....
But sharing that process here? That’s a muscle I’m still learning to flex. My perfectionism usually tells me that if it isn't a high-production tutorial or a flawless "after" photo, it isn't "enough."
But I’m realizing that the "finished product" is only half the story. The real magic happens in these small, quiet moments of preparation.
So today, I’m practicing a different kind of "natural look"—showing up exactly where I am. No big reveal, no fancy edits.
Just an outtake from a photoshoot, showing you what I love doing.
Consistency isn’t about being perfect every day; it’s about being brave enough to take up a little bit of space, even when it feels quiet.
Do you find it easier to do the work than to show the work? I’d love to know I’m not the only one navigating this "visibility" hurdle. Let's chat in the comments. 👇

Let me strike while the iron is hot 😄
I was honestly overwhelmed with the love and support I received yesterday, and because of that, here's another post for you 😆
Yesterday’s grid post took weeks of overthinking and a lot of "lakas ng loob" to finally hit publish.
I used to think that if a post wasn't flawlessly produced, it shouldn't exist.🫠
But staying small and hidden means missing the chance to connect with you. So here is a low-stakes, unedited peek into my world--- no filters, no perfectionism allowed.
JUST ME SHOWING UP.🙋♀️
Are you a recovering perfectionist too?
How do you handle that feeling when trying something new? Let's talk below! 👇✨
