It has been almost a month since the 3rd Asian Functional Medicine Conference, and we hope the conversations, insights, and learning continue to shape your practice and perspective.
From mitochondria to circadian rhythms to the HPA axis, the learning didn’t end when the sessions did. Here’s to carrying those insights forward in our clinics, classrooms, and communities.
Take a look back at some of the moments that brought us together. Thank you again for being part of the experience!

Some photos taken from Day 2 of the 3rd ASMPH Asian Functional Medicine Conference.
Day 2 continued the conversation with deeper dives into practical and integrative approaches to mitochondrial health. Sessions explored breathwork and circadian reset, the role of melatonin and light in HPA axis regulation, and how sleep and nutrition work together to support mitochondrial recovery. Discussions also focused on tailoring mitochondrial support across different life stages and harnessing light, heat, oxygen, and energy to build resilience.
The conference concluded with forward-looking conversations on functional food innovation and translating insights into practice—bringing two full days of learning, exchange, and collaboration to a close.
Thank you to everyone who joined us! Stay tuned for more Functional Medicine courses and offerings soon.

Snaps from Day 1 of the 3rd Asian Functional Medicine Conference
Day 1 featured engaging discussions on mitochondrial health and its role in clinical practice, from understanding mitochondrial dysfunction as a silent burden in the Philippines and Asia to viewing the mitochondrion as a clinical compass. Sessions also explored circadian vulnerability among the youth, mitochondria across the lifespan, and the bidirectional relationship between mitochondrial dysfunction and the HPA axis.
The day wrapped up with conversations on functional nutrition as a foundation for supporting energy and resilience, capped by a panel discussion asking a timely question: Is mitochondrial medicine the future of chronic disease?

This highly informative discussion brings nutrition to the center of the conversation on energy, stress, and resilience. Joemarc dela Cruz, RND, leads the discussion with Dr Eca Lorenzo joining as panelist, and Dr Zoe Arugay-Magat moderating a dynamic exchange that bridges functional nutrition with clinical application.
Together, they unpack how everyday food choices, timing, and personalization can support energy regulation and stress balance, offering practical insights relevant to clinicians, nutritionists, and health professionals alike.
Don't miss this chance to learn from this discussion while earning CPD units (Medical Doctors and Nutritionist-Dieticians).
A fresh way to look at health!
We’re thrilled to feature Dr. Peter Michael Stone as one of our key speakers at next week's 3rd ASMPH Asian Functional Medicine Conference — where we move beyond symptom management and dive into root-cause, whole-person care.
In this video, Dr. Stone shares insights that challenge how we think about chronic disease, prevention, and the future of medicine. And this is just a preview of the powerful conversations happening at the conference.
If you care about the intersection of lifestyle, biology, and long-term health — this is a discussion you don’t want to miss.

Dr Leslie Stone brings a life-course lens to mitochondrial health, tracing how mitochondrial development evolves from infancy through aging. Her first lecture examines shifts in mitochondrial density, energy production, and vulnerability to stressors and environmental toxins across different stages of life.
She will also lead a focused discussion on the impact of cortisol, stress signaling pathways, and inflammation on mitochondrial output, adaptability, and overall resilience, translating complex physiology into clinically relevant insights.
Be part of the dialogue shaping a deeper understanding of mitochondrial health across the lifespan.
Learn deeply from the conference while earning 13.50 CPD units for MDs and 12 CPD units for RNDs. Scan the QR code and register today!
