DIFFERENT REACTIONS DURING NAIL ENHANCEMENTS

Ang pangingilo or sudden heat during curing is usually a physical response, not an allergy. Often related ito sa heat spike, kapal ng product, or thin and over-prepped nails. Redness without itching is more likely irritation, commonly caused by over-filing, friction, or dehydration from prep products.

Mini bumps or small rashes can be an early warning sign. Dito pumapasok ang importance ng application control. Gel touching the skin, incomplete curing, or repeated minor exposure can slowly lead to sensitization if not corrected.

Blisters need more context. Small blisters with itching and swelling can be linked to developing or established allergic reactions from repeated exposure over time. Large or sudden blisters, on the other hand, can be caused by primer burns or chemical burns, especially when acidic primers or strong prep products come into direct contact with the skin.

This is why observation matters. Not every blister is an allergy, and not every reaction means the same thing. Understanding the difference helps nail techs respond properly, adjust technique, and avoid unnecessary panic. If this happens, ang pinakamagandang way is to contact your doctor. [Derma/Podia]
