These beauties were originally lifted elsewhere — we had cross-over regrowth and damaged, uneven lashes to work with. I carefully relifted them to create a beautifully uniform, sleek curl, then nourished every single lash back to health with a keratin treatment — which is standard in every lash lift I perform here! 💪

Finished with a rich, deep dark brown tint for that softer, warmer, totally stunning vibe… and honestly? I am here for it. 🤎

⚠️ Important Retinol + Waxing Reminder ⚠️

Kia ora e hoa mā – a little real talk from me today! You’ve all heard me say it so many times: no waxing within 48 hours of using retinol.

Well… for the first time in 12 years, I slipped up. Got distracted, forgot I’d applied it, and went to tidy up those annoying little chin hairs anyway. IYKYK – and bam! Instant skin lifting right there. 😅

Retinol gently renews and thins the top layer of your skin, making it extra sensitive – even when you think it’s settled. Waxing will pull that delicate skin right off, leaving it sore and raw.

Please don’t be like me and learn this lesson the hard way! If you’re using retinol, vitamin A, or strong exfoliants, hold off on waxing for at least 48 hours before your appointment – and always let me know at booking or when you arrive so we can keep your skin safe.

Shoulder injury update 🤍

Steroid injection done today to help my shoulder heal well.

This means no massage services for the next 2–4 weeks while I rest and recover properly. I’ll keep you all posted with how things go as I heal.

All other services are running as usual – lashes, brows, waxing, facials and spray tanning are all available, and bookings remain open online.

🤍 A little update for all my lovely clients

As winter settles in, it’s bringing with it some of the most stubborn illnesses I’ve seen in a long time — affecting everyone from our rangatahi as young as 13 right through to our wonderful kuia and koroua in their 80s.

Health truly is our greatest wealth, without it everything else feels so much harder.

A gentle reminder: if you’re feeling unwell, please stay home. There is absolutely no shame in rescheduling your appointment. We can easily move your booking to a day when you’re feeling stronger and recovered — far better that than pushing through, prolonging your sickness, missing out on more work or time with whānau later on.

And for me, it's getting myself unwell to spread to my own whanau and having to reschedule others so they miss out.

My space is kept warm, clean and safe for everyone, and I look forward to welcoming you when you’re feeling your best self again ✨
