DID YOU KNOW YOUR BODY CAN TURN COCONUT INTO QUICK ENERGY?
Coconut meat contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) a type of fat that your body can digest and absorb relatively quickly.
Unlike many longer-chain fats, MCTs are transported to the liver, where they can be used as a source of energy.
That makes coconut an interesting addition to a balanced diet.
But remember: coconut is still calorie-dense, so more isn’t necessarily better. Enjoy it in reasonable portions alongside a varied diet.
Nature gives us many different foods that fuel the body in different ways. The key is balance.
Would you add fresh coconut to your meals or snacks?

BEFORE YOU HAND A SCREEN TO A TODDLER, READ THIS
Those tiny hands may love the bright screen, but the first years of life are a critical period for brain development.
Research suggests that higher amounts of screen time in very young children especially under age 2 can be associated with differences in areas such as language, attention, learning and self-regulation.
And it’s not simply about the screen itself.
When screen time replaces talking, playing, exploring, reading, physical activity and face-to-face interaction, children may miss out on experiences that are important for healthy development.
Talk to them.
Read together.
Let them play and explore.
Give them time to move and discover the world around them.
And when possible, keep screens limited and intentional.
The goal isn’t to make your child completely screen-free. It’s to make sure a screen doesn’t become a substitute for real-life interaction.
Parents, what has been your biggest challenge when it comes to managing screen time?

YOU CAN EAT WELL, WORK OUT HARD AND STILL FEEL LIKE YOUR BELLY FAT ISN’T MOVING.
But before you blame your willpower, there’s something else worth looking at: stress, sleep and cortisol.
Cortisol is a normal hormone that helps your body respond to stress. But when stress becomes chronic and sleep is consistently poor, it can affect appetite, cravings, blood sugar regulation and where your body tends to store fat.
So no, cortisol isn’t a magic explanation for every stubborn belly. Your overall calorie balance still matters. But your stress and recovery habits matter too.
Here are simple ways to support healthier cortisol rhythms:
1. Don’t train hard every single day.
Exercise is healthy, but more isn’t always better. Give your body enough recovery between demanding workouts.
2.Get morning daylight.
Spend some time outdoors soon after waking. Morning light helps keep your body clock and its natural cortisol rhythm properly timed.
3.Walk outside.
A relaxing walk in a green space can help reduce stress and give your nervous system a much-needed break.
4.Make your sleep schedule consistent.
Going to bed and waking up at wildly different times can disrupt your body clock. Aim for a regular sleep routine.
5.Watch your afternoon caffeine.
Caffeine can interfere with sleep, especially when consumed later in the day. And poor sleep can make stress and appetite harder to manage.
6. Try slow, deep breathing.
Just a few minutes of slow breathing can help your body shift toward a calmer state. Try a longer, gentle exhale.
7.Deal with the stress you keep postponing.
Work problems. Difficult conversations. Financial worries. Toxic situations. Chronic stress doesn’t disappear just because you ignore it.
8. Don’t turn dieting into starvation.
You don’t need to eat every two hours, but an overly restrictive diet can make hunger, cravings and adherence much harder.
9.Stay connected.
Real conversations, laughter, time with people you care about and meaningful social connection can all support emotional well-being.
And please remember this:
You don’t need to “destroy cortisol” to lose belly fat.
You need a sustainable combination of nutritious food, appropriate exercise, enough sleep, stress management and most importantly consistency.
Your body isn’t fighting against you. Sometimes, it simply needs better recovery, not more punishment.
Which one of these habits do you need to work on most right now sleep, stress, exercise or nutrition?

Have you ever wondered how far a single sneeze can travel?
One sneeze can send a surprising amount of tiny droplets into the air and some of those droplets may carry germs.
That’s why when you feel a sneeze coming, it’s not just about covering your mouth for good manners. It’s about protecting the people around you.
A simple sneeze can spread respiratory droplets across your surroundings, especially in enclosed spaces.
So, let’s make the little things count:
Sneeze into your elbow or a tissue.
Wash your hands regularly.
Keep indoor spaces well ventilated.
And be mindful of others when you’re feeling unwell.
We may not be able to stop every sneeze, but we can certainly be more responsible about how we handle them.
Have you ever been caught in the “sneeze zone” of someone nearby? What happened?
