It's easy to focus on outward appearance while neglecting what truly matters that's the condition of our hearts.

That's why most people are always surprised to see a decently dressed lady acting in an indecent manner.

Know this and know peace, that a lady is decently dressed with long skirt or long gown, no earrings, no make up, covers from head to toes,
does not mean she is such in heart.

A long skirt doesn't hide pride.

It doesn't silence gossip.

It doesn't soften a bitter heart.

Long dress does not cover greed.

A long skirt doesn't remove envy and jealousy.

And it doesn't change a wuucked heart.

God want us to honour Him not only in the way we dress, but also in the way we live our lives both outside and inside our homes

True modesty is a reflection of a heart surrendered to God.

So let's strive for modesty that is seen not only in our appearance but also in our
words,
attitudes,
and character.
