2½ months postpartum.

Still carrying baby weight.
Still rebuilding my strength.
Still figuring out this new version of me.

But I never decided that becoming a mother meant the end of my dreams.

If anything, motherhood made me dream bigger.

I didn’t stop climbing.
I just learned to climb with more people worth coming home to. 🤍

Some people will see the smile.
They won’t see the fear, the falls, or the decision to keep going.

And that’s okay.

Let them underestimate you. 🧗‍♀️✨

A slow afternoon with the best company I could ask for. 🤍

Homemade banana bread. A warm cup of tea. Two little boys who somehow make every conversation end up being about jeeps and racing cars.

These are the moments I dreamed of.

Knowing exactly what goes into the food I bake for them. No unnecessary additives. No mystery ingredients. Just simple, wholesome food made with love.

Not rushing out the door.
Not watching the clock.
Not asking anyone for permission to spend a Thursday afternoon having tea with my boys.

And at the same time, still using my knowledge to contribute to something bigger than myself.

For many modern mums, this probably sounds like a fairytale.

I just wanted to show you that it’s possible.

There isn’t a perfect Instagram version of life behind these photos. There are messy toys, sleepless nights, laundry waiting to be folded, and plenty of challenges.

But this part? This is real.

I’m not 100% where I want to be yet, but we’re building this life one intentional day at a time. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade these afternoons for anything. 🤍

Sometimes a single conversation tells you everything about people’s priorities.

A colleague spent a long time telling me how often their children get sick. Doctor visits almost every week. Time off work. Stress. Sleepless nights.

Knowing what I do, I simply said:
“Why don’t you take some of our water home for a few weeks? No cost. No obligation. I just want to see if it helps your little ones.”

The answer surprised me.

“We can’t right now... we’ve just ordered a new vehicle.”

I reminded them I wasn’t asking them to buy anything. The water was free. They didn’t even have to believe me—just try it.

They still said no.

That conversation stayed with me.

It made me realize that sometimes the biggest barrier to better health isn’t money.
It isn’t lack of information.
It isn’t even access.

It’s what we choose to prioritize.

We spend hundreds of thousands on things that lose value the moment we drive them home, yet hesitate to invest even our time in exploring something that might improve our family’s health.

I’m not saying water is a miracle.

I’m saying our health deserves at least the same level of attention we give our possessions.

Because at the end of the day, the car can always be replaced.

Your children’s health can’t.

What do you think—is health really your top priority, or do your daily decisions tell a different story?

Your brain accounts for only about 2% of your body weight, yet it consumes approximately 20% of your body’s energy.

Optimal brain function depends on a complex interplay of neuronal signaling, cerebral blood flow, electrolyte balance, and cellular hydration. Research has shown that even mild dehydration can impair attention, working memory, executive function, processing speed, and mood.

Hydration influences blood viscosity and cerebral perfusion, both of which affect the delivery of oxygen and nutrients required for efficient synaptic transmission and cognitive performance.

We often ask, “What should I eat for brain health?”

Perhaps we should also be asking:

What am I drinking?

🧠 Think better. Drink better.

Did you know that the water you drink could influence how well you think?

Your brain is made up of approximately 75% water, and every thought, memory, decision, and emotion depends on billions of nerve cells communicating efficiently. But what happens when those cells aren’t properly hydrated?

In this episode of “Did You Know?” on WOW TV, I explain the fascinating connection between the quality of the water you drink, cellular hydration, and optimal brain function.

✅ Could your daily water choice be affecting your focus?
✅ Does hydration impact mental clarity and cognitive performance?
✅ Are all types of drinking water equally effective for your body’s cells?

Watch until the end and discover why upgrading your water may be one of the simplest steps you can take to support your brain and overall wellbeing.

What type of water do you drink every day? Let me know in the comments!

For the longest time, I thought I had to choose.

✨ Chase my potential and keep climbing the academic ladder…

OR

✨ Slow down, be more present, and create a life that felt aligned.

As a working mom, that choice felt impossible.

But what if the real answer isn’t choosing one over the other?

What if there was a way to build something meaningful, make an impact, create financial freedom, and still have time for the people and moments that matter most?

Finding that possibility changed everything for me. ❤️

If you’ve ever felt torn between your ambition and the life you want to live, comment “BOTH” below or send me a DM. I’d love to share what helped me stop choosing and start creating a life that fits both dreams.

As a neuroscientist, I spend a lot of time thinking about what helps the body function at its best. One thing that’s easy to overlook is that water isn’t just something we drink—it’s a major component of every cell, tissue and organ.

Newborn babies are about 75% water, highlighting just how fundamental water is to life from the very beginning.

That’s one of the reasons our family pays attention not only to how much water we drink, but also to its quality. 💙

As a parent, what do you pay the most attention to: food, sleep, movement, or water? I’d love to know in the comments.

We thought two little boys had already filled our hearts completely... 💙💙

Then life had one more surprise waiting for us.

A quiet beach, a little cake, our family of four... and a moment we’ll never forget.

Baby Boy number 3, you have made our family complete. 💙

Our hearts, our home, and our hands are a little fuller—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

For thousands of years, women gave birth by trusting their bodies, their instincts, and the wisdom they carried within them.

Somewhere along the way, we were taught to fear birth, to expect suffering, and to believe that our bodies needed fixing rather than trusting.

This birth reminded me of something different.

I spent my pregnancy preparing my mind as much as my body. Through hypnobirthing, affirmations, breathing, and understanding the physiology of birth, I learned to work with my body instead of against it.

Thirty minutes later, I was holding my baby, fully aware, fully present, and completely in awe.

Birth doesn’t have to be a battle.

When we remove fear, trust the process, and return to the wisdom that has always been within us, birth can be calm, empowering, and even joyful.

This was my experience, and I’ll cherish it forever. ❤️
