I’m raising a son your daughter will be safe with.
A boy who knows no means no.
A boy who understands silence is not consent.
A boy who doesn’t see kindness as weakness or boundaries as negotiable.

I’m raising a son who respects women when no one is watching.
Who doesn’t feel entitled to anyone’s body, time, or attention.
Who will step in instead of standing by.
Who will call out his friends instead of laughing along.

Because “boys will be boys” isn’t an excuse.
It’s a failure to teach them better.

And I refuse to pass that failure down.

I’m not just raising a boy.
I’m raising a safe man.

Motherhood has changed me in ways I never expected.
I've become more tired,
more patient,
more emotional
But through it all,
I've become stronger than I ever thought possible.
Some days I doubt myself.
But every time they run to me,
when they cry for mom,
every time they feel safe in my arms,
I remember the same thing:
Although I may not be perfect,
I am the mom they need.♥️

In every house in Italy, children hang a stocking.

• Bad children: Only carbone (carbon)! (Nowadays, black sugar that looks like coal is sold in candy stores).

They can be soft, loud, weird, bold, emotional, creative.

My job isn’t to mold them into something safe for the world.
It’s to give them a safe place to become themselves.

And in this house,
being yourself has always been allowed.

Good dads are so important.

Not the “babysitting” kind.
The show up every single day kind.

The dads who change diapers without being asked.
Who calm meltdowns.
Who do bedtime.
Who protect their kids’ hearts. ♥️

The dads who love their kids loudly and gently.
Who break cycles instead of repeating them.

That kind of dad changes everything.
For their kids.
For their partners.
For generations.
