As someone who has had professional microneedling, only to walk out the doors of the clinic bloody and swollen, I’d long sworn off ever having the treatment again. So the idea that a liquid microneedling serum could deliver my hyaluronic acid and peptides deeper into the skin without pain sounded brilliant.”

☀️🧳 What's going in my suitcase: my holiday SPF line-up
Intellishade - an everyday face SPF and moisturiser in one. It's a 5-in-1 formula that corrects, protects, brightens and hydrates, all with Broad-Spectrum SPF built in. The anti-ageing side comes from a blend of three peptides that help visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improve firmness and elasticity, alongside antioxidants THD ascorbate (a stable form of vitamin C) and EGCG from green tea, which help defend skin against environmental damage.
Heliocare 360 Invisible Spray SPF50+ - my go-to for body or on the go. It's a fast-absorbing, invisible spray with no white residue, protects against UVB, UVA, visible light and infrared, and even works on wet skin, so perfect for pool and beach days. It also contains Fernblock® FC, an antioxidant complex containing Polypodium leucotomos extract along with ferulic acid, caffeic acid, green tea and vitamins C and E.
The Solar Shield SPF 50 - containing their TFC8® technology, it gives SPF 50 broad-spectrum protection while also supporting skin renewal, helping improve tone, texture and elasticity. Lightweight, non-greasy, and no white cast. This isn't a brand I'm usually drawn to, but I was so keen to try body sunscreens that do more than just protect, I thought I would give it a go and hope I don't actually like it because it's so expensive.
