Ticks can be found in gardens, parks, beaches with vegetation, hiking trails and grassy areas… not just in the forest 🌳
Young ticks, known as 'nymphs', are most associated with Lyme disease transmission in humans. They are small and easy to overlook. Adult ticks are active all year round so it is best to always be protected when going outdoors.
