“Charlotte’s Web by E.B White. A story of friendship between a spider and a pig — and the lengths one goes to for friendship. My teacher Ms Gibson read this book to class 2 me, and I was forever changed.”

“Like many Fiji kids of the time, it was probably Enid Blyton’s Secret Seven and Famous Five series. I wanted to solve mysteries and have adventures like them — and some things seemed so exotic… like ginger beer.”
