Hi I am Silvia- Lipedema Mentor. I guide women preparing for Lipedema Reduction Surgery. Because surgery is not the first step - preparation is.

Today we start. 💜

Lipedema surgery preparation is not something that begins a few days before your operation.

It starts much earlier — with the right routine, the right professionals around you, and the consistency to actually follow through.

Inside my Lipedema Rebel™ Mentoring Programs, we work on the foundations that can support you before surgery, through recovery and beyond: movement, nutrition, compression, lymphatic care, integrative treatments and preparation.

And yes… I’ll be on your back. A lot. 😅
Because having a plan is one thing. Turning it into your daily routine is another.

If surgery is part of your lipedema journey and you want to prepare differently this time:

What compression do I wear with lipedema?
These are the garments I personally use for post-op recovery, daily wear, sport and night compression.

After surgery, I wear Marena Recovery .switzerland
This is the compression I use during my post-op recovery. In Switzerland, I purchase it through ALBIN GROUP AG

For daily wear, I use custom-made Sigvaris compression SIGVARIS DACH
Mine is measured and fitted through Orthoconcept SA

For sport and daily activities, I often wear Anita Active Anita since 1886 & Rosa Faia
It gives me a lighter option when I’m moving, exercising or simply want something more practical during the day.

Another option I use for sport and daily activities is Solidea Be You Tonic Pro Solidea | Gravity Free®️
I purchase mine in Switzerland through ALBIN GROUP AG

At night, I use Jobst Relax custom-made compression. JOBST Deutschland
Mine was fitted through Orthoconcept SA

Compression is very personal.
What works for me may not be the right option for someone else. The type, fit and level of compression should always be adapted to your own body and needs.

Save this post if you’re building your own compression wardrobe.
I’m sharing what I personally wear because this is one of the questions I’m asked most often.

Drop me a message if you want to receive my discount codes. 🤜🤛

A little milestone I’m really happy to share 💜

From today, my Lipedema Rebel™ Body Care products are also available in person in Geneva at:

Centre de Physiothérapie PhysiOcean ORSAN SA
Rue Tronchin 14, 1202 Genève

For me, this means a lot.

These products are part of the daily care I believe can make a real difference when you live with lipedema — not as a miracle solution, but as one small part of a consistent routine.

Seeing them now available in a physiotherapy practice makes this step feel even more special, because it brings Lipedema Rebel™ a little closer to women who may want to discover the products in person.

If you are in Geneva, you can now find them directly there. 💗

Available online and now also in person.

IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN, TOO!

Today was already in my calendar. So I did it.

Not because I woke up feeling especially motivated.
Not because it was easy.

I did it because movement was already part of my plan.

That is the difference for me.

With lipedema, saying “I’ll try to move more” is usually not enough.
If I want to be consistent, I need to decide when, put it in my calendar, and make space for it in real life.

Today: 4.6 km done. ✅

Small actions, repeated consistently, become a routine.

And this is exactly what I work on in my 1:1 mentoring too: helping women turn good intentions into a realistic lipedema plan they can actually follow.

Do you already have your lipedema plan? 💜

Summer changes our routines.

We travel, our schedules change, we eat differently, we move differently — and sometimes the structure we normally follow simply disappears for a few weeks.

And that’s okay.

But now summer is coming to an end, and I am rebuilding the routine that helps me manage my lipedema.

Not perfectly.

Consistently.

Because having a routine isn’t about doing everything right every single day.

It’s about creating space in your real life for the things that support your body — movement, lymphatic care, compression, nutrition, recovery and rest.

For me, there is another reason why this matters even more right now: my fourth lipedema surgery is approaching.

And after three surgeries, I know that preparation doesn’t begin a few days before entering the operating room.

It is built through the small things we do consistently long before surgery day.

That’s what my new Rebel Journal article is about: why your lipedema routine matters, why consistency matters more than perfection, and how the routine you build today can also become part of your surgery preparation.

After summer, I’m back to my routine.

And honestly, I think that’s normal.

During summer, I don’t follow a rigid programme. Life changes, days are different, routines become softer.

But for the past few weeks, I’ve started building mine back again because I’m preparing for my 4th lipedema surgery.

One thing that really helps me is planning everything in my calendar.

Because for me, if it’s in the calendar, it has a much better chance of becoming part of real life.

Saying “I’ll do it” is not enough.

If you don’t plan your movement, treatments, appointments, recovery time and the things that support your body, it becomes much harder to stay consistent.

And consistency is what turns good intentions into a real routine.

This is also something I work on a lot in my 1:1 mentoring.

Often, women already know what they want to do — but the difficult part is turning that plan into something they can actually follow week after week.

That’s when activities stop feeling like “tasks” and start becoming part of a new routine.

If you’re preparing for lipedema surgery and want help organising your preparation around your real life, my September mentoring sessions are open. 💜

Preparing for lipedema surgery can quickly become overwhelming.

There is so much information out there — but knowing what actually applies to you, what to organise first, and whether you are realistically ready for surgery is something completely different.

That’s where personalised mentoring comes in.

During our 1:1 sessions, we work around your surgery, your situation and your needs. Together, we identify what is already in place, what may still be missing, and what your next steps should be.

From compression and lymphatic care to practical recovery planning, support at home and the questions you still need to discuss with your healthcare team — we turn all that information into your own preparation plan.

And we don’t create the plan once and leave it there. As your surgery approaches, we review, adjust and continue preparing together.

And do you know who truly understands what it takes to prepare for lipedema surgery?
Another patient who has already been through it. 😉

Because being informed is important.
Being prepared is something different.
