Since 2021, we have implemented a range of energy efficiency measures at the ARGO-HYTOS site in Kraichtal, Germany, achieving 550,000 kWh of energy savings.
Among the initiatives implemented:

🍃 LED lighting upgrades
🍃 Heat recovery from compressors
🍃 Optimization of heating and ventilation controls
🍃 Elimination of leaks in the compressed air network
🍃 Use of energy-efficient equipment and technologies

These results demonstrate that sustainability and economic performance go hand in hand. At the same time, we are reducing resource consumption and contributing to lower CO₂ emissions.

Looking ahead, we continue to identify new opportunities for improvement. Among other initiatives, the planned transition to heat pump technology will help further increase the energy efficiency of our site.

Whether on construction sites, in the field, or in municipal operations, machines need to keep performing when conditions get demanding.
High temperatures, heavy loads and continuous operation put additional stress on hydraulic systems and components. That’s where reliable technology makes the difference.

As we showed in our previous posts on filtration quality, not all quality differences are visible at first glance.

One more important example: collapse pressure stability.

A filter element that cannot withstand the required differential pressure may fail prematurely, resulting in:
❌Unfiltered dirt particles entering the system
❌ Damage to sensitive components

This reduces the protection of the hydraulic system which can lead to serious consequences for the entire application.

Last month, our COO Shrikant Bairagi visited ARGO-HYTOS Turkey, where he met with the local team as well as customers and suppliers.

The visit was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss market developments, and strengthen the relationships that drive our business forward. Face-to-face conversations help us better understand local needs and turn ideas into future collaboration.

We are happy to welcome Isabell Katschmer as Chief Financial Officer of ARGO-HYTOS.

With more than 20 years of international leadership experience across Europe, the United States and Asia, Isabell brings extensive expertise in finance, strategy, transformation and operational excellence. Her broad experience in international industrial businesses will support as we continue to strengthen our global organization and drive sustainable growth.

Isabell joins ARGO-HYTOS as part of a carefully planned leadership transition. Together with our current CFO Benjamin Bass, who will assume a new role within the Voith Group at the end of October, they will ensure a smooth and seamless handover in the coming months.

We thank Benjamin for his continued commitment and valuable contributions during this transition period and are excited to welcome Isabell to the team as we start this next chapter together.

Last month, our DACH Sales team spent some days together in Kraichtal at Germany, joined by colleagues from several business departments. We exchanged ideas, shared experiences, discussed new opportunities, and developed ideas on how we can continue to better support our customers.

The biggest takeaway? Bringing together different experiences and perspectives always leads to better conversations, stronger teamwork, and thus to better solutions for our partners. 🤝

Being spread across the DACH region, many of us don't get the chance to work side by side every day. That’s why moments like these are a great reminder that the best solutions are rarely created in isolation, but through collaboration across teams, functions, and locations.

We're heading back to our daily business with fresh ideas, stronger connections, and plenty of motivation for what’s ahead. Looking forward to putting these ideas into action. 💪
