Hello and happy holidays!

I will be closed over the holiday season and, as many of you know, my online university courses begin in January. With this life change I will sadly be taking a temporary break from the salon. I will not be responding to messages until January 4th, at which point I will have more information on a possible return date.😊

My Lovely Guests of Copper Comb,

First, I want to thank you all for being so understanding about rescheduled appointments and delayed responses while I’ve been dealing with the loss of my father. I am lightly operational at the salon this week, but I will be away again this weekend and resume a regular schedule on November 30th. Walk-ins will resume on Friday, December 3rd. If I have forgotten to reach out with a reschedule date for you - please send me a reminder message!

Next, I have revised my salon services and price list. On or after December 1st, please review the Services tab on my page for an updated list of services offered. I have replaced some individual services with a blanket-pricing model. Haircuts (excluding buzz-cuts) will be charged $16 per 15 minutes. Hair colours will be charged at a base price of $72/hr and calculated in 15 minute increments. I will still honour discounts for Birthdays(10%) and First Responders(20%). Tax is additional. These changes will take effect on December 1st, 2021.

I am also going to implement a $5 fee for those who pay by credit card. I haven’t wanted to add any extra fees for my guests, but I am unfortunately seeing too many credit card fees with my Point of Sale system. Cash and debit are still accepted without fee.

NEW SCHEDULE

Hi all!

As many of you know, I will be back to my day job in September. This means my hours will again be decreased to evenings & Saturdays. My new temporary hours of operation will be as follows:

Tuesday & Thursday 4:00-8:00
Saturdays 10:00-4:00

In lieu of this, I have also made some changes to my services. I have previously expressed an interest in taking my business more in the direction of barbering, so for the time being I am going to reduce the amount of colour appointments I take. I will no longer be accepting new colour clients or colour correction appointments. This pertains to situations such as:

• Non-existing colour clients
• Adding or removing fashion colours - blue, violet, green etc. (This excludes fashion toners on current blondes)
• Colour service on hair which has been coloured at home within in the last 18 months
• Dramatic changes (ex. black to blonde) on any previously coloured hair

Spaces will fill up quickly due to the limited hours, so allow yourself a couple weeks notice if possible. If you are a regular (4-8 week colour touch ups) I would highly suggest prebooking your next appointment before you leave 🙂 As always, I will do my best to accommodate you and can often squeeze in those 15 minute haircuts.
