When I first started this journey, I was a single mom in Unity just trying to make ends meet. Like many small business owners, there were plenty of challenges along the way, but there were also so many incredible people who believed in me. What started as a dream became so much more than I ever imagined.
My vision was to create a space where independent professionals could build their own businesses, support one another, and collaborate as a team while providing the best possible care to our clients.
Through renovations, countless hours of continuing education, growing from one co-worker to an amazing team, and with the loyalty of so many wonderful clients, Spa City became a reality. ❤️
To my incredible staff, both past and present, and to every client who has supported me over the years, thank you. 💕💕Many of you have become friends, and I will always be grateful for the trust, encouragement, and memories we’ve shared.
Today, I’m excited to share that I have officially sold Spa City to Mieke Williams. I truly believe she will bring fresh ideas and a wonderful vision for the future, and I’m excited to see Spa City continue to grow. The best part is Spa City will continue operating as usual, and I’ll still be here.
I’m looking forward to focusing even more on my clients and their experience😌

This coming week is Avery's final week at Spa City as she completes the last of her practicum hours. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has shared her schedule over the past three weeks and to everyone who has booked a massage. Your support has been incredible and has played an important role in helping Avery build her confidence and hands-on experience as she prepares to begin her career in massage therapy.

If you've been thinking about booking, this is your last opportunity to enjoy a relaxing massage with Avery at her practicum rate of $50 + tax. It's a wonderful way to treat yourself while supporting an aspiring Registered Massage Therapist during the final stage of her training.

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Avery to our spa family for the summer! As a dedicated student massage therapist, she is ready to bring her growing expertise, fresh energy, and passion for wellness to our clients.

During her practicum, she will be taking appointments for relaxation massage at an introductory rate of $50/service. Services with Avery will not be submittable to extended health benefits but it’s a great opportunity to get a fantastic treatment while supporting an eager, growing therapist!

Meet Avery, a 19-year-old student massage therapist dedicated to serving her community of Unity, Saskatchewan. Fresh off completing her first year of massage therapy school, Avery is passionate about anatomy and helping others heal. Her practice focuses on reducing pain, relieving stress, improving mobility, and promoting essential self-care. Avery is excited to grow her career locally and looks forward to helping you achieve your wellness goals.
