Your toddler walks on their toes, and everyone keeps telling you it's just a phase.

Sometimes it is. But persistent toe-walking can also point to tension through the nervous system, patterns that started well before your child ever took a step.

It's not about correcting how they walk. It's about understanding why the body chose this path in the first place, and resolving it.

If your toddler toe-walks, it's worth a closer look, not more waiting.

We hear it all the time—but recurring headaches shouldn't automatically be dismissed as "normal."

While sleep deprivation, hormonal changes, and the demands of caring for a newborn can all contribute, headaches that consistently appear in the same spot often point to a physical cause.

One of the most common patterns we see postpartum is tension at the base of the skull. Long hours spent feeding, holding, and looking down at your baby can overload the muscles at the back of the neck, referring pain into the head.

If your headaches keep returning, it's worth having them assessed rather than simply pushing through.

Your baby won't sleep flat. They arch when you put them down. They only settle when you're holding them upright.

You've been told it's just reflux, or just a phase.

Here's what we often see: tension in the spine or craniosacral system that makes lying flat genuinely uncomfortable.

When dozing off to sleep, that discomfort becomes more noticeable. Your baby is not being difficult.

With the tension released, families often notice sleep shifting within sessions. Not a guarantee — but a pattern we see regularly.

You've tried the diet changes. More water. More fiber. Miralax on and off. It helps for a while and then you're back to the same place.

Chronic constipation in children is not always a diet problem.

Sometimes it is a body tension problem.

Your latch looks right on paper. But it still hurts. Every. Single. Feed.
Here's what that can actually mean.

Swipe through — then save this if it sounds familiar.

You don't have to keep feeding through pain. Book through the link in our bio.

Your child was called difficult. Distracted. Defiant.

Every motor milestone builds more than strength. It builds the brain.
Movement builds coordination, focus, and the ability to regulate big emotions.

When babies skip stages, the body moves forward but misses the brain development that those stages were meant for.

Years later that can look like a child who struggles to sit still, melts down easily, or gets labelled before anyone looks at what their body might still need.

Patty, our OT, leads MyBaby In Motion every Thursday this month. Link in bio to register.

The Moro Reflex - aka the startle reflex.

It's a baby's built-in response to sudden sound or movement.
If your baby startles easily and takes a bit to settle, that's worth paying attention to.

This reflex is normal in newborns, and gradually decreases within the first 3-4 months before going away (known as integration).
What's not as well-known is what happens when that reflex stays activated longer than it should.

The result is a baby who cannot settle, cannot stay asleep, cannot tolerate tummy time, and who misses developmental milestones.
Here at MyBaby, our team combines Craniosacral Therapy and Reflex Integration (gentle body movements) to help calm the nervous system, so the Moro reflex can integrate the way it was designed to.

Your child gets headaches constantly. You've tried everything.

Nothing fully works.

Here's something worth considering.

Kids clench their jaws when they're stressed or deeply focused. Most don't even know they're doing it.

Over time that tension builds in the jaw and neck — and it shows up as headaches, jaw clicking, and neck pain that won't settle.

Jennifer works gently to release that tension.

Most families notice a real difference. Not just in headaches — in how their child feels overall.
