When it comes to egg freezing, many conversations focus on one thing: the number of eggs. But there’s another important piece that is often overlooked: egg quality. 🥚✨
Many people don’t realize that egg quality can vary from egg to egg, even within the same egg freezing cycle. Understanding the role egg quality plays can help provide a more complete picture of what egg freezing involves.
At EVOLVE, our goal is to educate, answer questions, and help you better understand the science behind egg freezing so you can feel informed about your options and make decisions that feel right for you, whenever the time comes.
Is the right time to have children or start thinking about family planning tied to age, relationships, or something else entirely?
We asked these two incredible women to share their perspectives on egg freezing, dating, relationships, and why more women are choosing to explore their options on their own timeline.
---
It was inspiring to hear different experiences and perspectives, from navigating relationships to embracing singlehood, and how each person’s journey toward family planning can look so different. Egg freezing is a deeply personal choice, and there is no one “right” timeline or path. We’re here to create space for these important conversations, provide education, and support you as you explore what feels right for you.

More women are choosing to focus on their goals, careers, relationships, and personal milestones before starting a family. As a result, many are exploring their fertility options in their 30s and learning more about what their timeline may look like.
A question we often hear is: “Should I freeze my eggs at 35, or is it better to wait?”
Egg freezing can still be an option in your mid-to-late 30s, but egg quantity and quality naturally change with age. Some women may need to freeze more eggs or consider additional cycles to support their future family-building goals.
The best time to explore your options is when you have the information you need to make decisions that feel right for you.
We learn so much about our bodies growing up, but understanding our menstrual cycle is often left out of the conversation either in school or at home.
Knowing the different phases of your cycle from a young age helps you understand that your hormones are constantly changing and that those changes can impact your body, energy, emotions, and overall wellbeing.
It teaches you that changes in mood, cravings, fatigue, or how you feel throughout the month aren’t random. They’re signals from your body that are worth understanding.
When we learn about our cycles early, we can:
✨ better understand our health
✨ recognize what’s normal for us
✨ feel more confident asking questions
✨ advocate for ourselves when something feels different
Your cycle is a part of you. The earlier we understand it, the better we can care for ourselves.

Maybe you’ve heard someone mention egg freezing and thought: Why would someone do that if it’s not a guarantee?
It’s a question that comes up in conversations with friends, partners, and family. It’s something many people think about when considering their future, their goals, and what choices they want to keep open.
The answer isn't about a guarantee. It’s about preserving choice.

Movement is part of how a lot of us manage stress, feel good in our bodies, and stay grounded. The idea of pausing that routine can feel overwhelming.
Here’s the honest answer: you don’t have to stop moving entirely. But the intensity and type of movement might shift depending on where you are in your cycle.
