My apologies that I have been very absent from my business this past week. I have been going non stop with the moving my house process. I’m back in the salon on Tuesday and will let those of you know that have placed orders for products when you can pick them up. I thought I would have time to swing into the salon to organize those but there hasn’t been a spare second. So please be patient Tuesday as I am fully booked with clients but I will unpack the orders in between.

Next available appointment is October 5th! If you do not have any upcoming appointments throughout the summer, you can email or text me to get on the cancellation list. Unfortunately my hours and schedule are very limited this summer due to selling my house and getting ready to move to the country. And I also have a few weeks holidays in there too. I’ve had a lot of inquiries recently about summer appointments. I hate disappointing people. That is why it’s important to check the mass emails that I send out every so often. One went out at the begging of April stating that the summer was almost full. I also know sometimes it’s hard to plan ahead of your life doesn’t allow it. I recommend sitting on the cancellation list so that you are the first informed when something comes up last minute. If I don’t see you until the fall, I hope you have a great summer☀️🏖️🌊

I am going through my schedule from Oct to Dec and moving people up to condense my day all before 3pm. If you get a notification and it doesn’t work for you please let me know. I figure most likely everyone would be fine with moving from 10am to 930am. Rather than sending a bunch of texts. Thanks everyone!

New system update: I have booked July & Auguats appointments in and I'm starting to work on Sept today.

If there is any discrepancies please let me know right away. Text is the fastest way to get my attention if I've made an error.

And a friendly reminder that the new prices started yesterday June 1st. Please reach out if you are wondering what your service title is. And remember that the increase was approximately $5/hour depending on the service. ( There were a handful of services that were closer to $10 due to me not being brave enough to update them for 5 years🤦🏻‍♀️)

I am human and learning a new system all at the same time so I have already made a few mistakes on choosing the wrong names of services. My apologies if I have caused any confusion.

Hello everyone👋🏼

With the Price List being sent via email last night, a few of you are unsure of the name of the services you receive. Please don't hesitate to ask if you are unsure😁.

All colour services include the price of your haircut. Everything is still based on time. So generally I adjust the base price if the appointment takes more or less. Always have. That won't change. The only time it would affect the haircut price is when a new haircut or extra styling is requested that takes extra time.

On average depending on the type of service, the hourly rate has increased by about $5-10/hour. (Before tax) Some services had to be updated on the higher end due to the amount of time and detail they entail.

SalonScale Cost (amount of product) is the same. This only increases by cents per year when the colour companies change their prices. I have no issue sharing your average amount with you if you need the breakdown.

Transparency has always been my motto since I opened my business.

An example:

If your 2 hour appointment was $150/hr + $15 in Colour that would have been

$165+HST (13%) = $186.45

Your new price would be:

$170+15 x 13%= $209.05

So that is $22.60/ 2hrs = $11.30/ hr incl. Tax

I think this is only the 2nd or 3rd May Long weekend I've ever missed going to camp. Once during covid for sure....but I don't generally pass up the opportunity to go fishing🎣
