There’s something strangely vulnerable about posting a work in progress.

Most people only ever see the finished tattoo—the polished photos, the healed results, the final vision. But every piece has a stage where it looks awkward, incomplete, or like it’s not going anywhere yet. That’s just part of creating I guess. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sometimes I hesitate to share these moments because it feels like I’m sending an unfinished piece of myself out into the world. Like a little part of my heart is walking around before it’s ready 🫣

But art isn’t magic. It’s layers. It’s trust. It’s patience. It’s knowing where you’re going even when no one else can see it yet.

This little disco snail isn’t finished, but I already love the journey it’s taking. 💜✨ Thank you to every client who trusts me with the process—not just the final result.

Because sometimes the most beautiful part of creating… is watching it become.

❤️ A dream I’ve been holding onto is finally becoming a reality. ❤️

I’m so excited (and honestly a little emotional) to share that I’ve been accepted into the Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts program at Lakehead University . 🎨

I’ll be taking one course each semester, so it’ll take me a long time to complete my degree—but that’s okay. This isn’t a race. Every course is another opportunity to grow, challenge myself, and become a better artist.

This is why we do the hard things. Why we push ourselves outside our comfort zones. Why we never stop trying to become better versions of ourselves.

I’ve always wanted to know everything about the things I’m passionate about. Some people would probably say I’m obsessed… and they’re probably right. 😅 But to me, that’s what passion looks like. I never want to stop learning, growing, or finding new ways to improve my craft.

This degree isn’t about adding letters after my name. It’s about becoming a better artist. I want to deepen my understanding of art, refine my skills, explore new techniques, and bring everything I learn back into every art piece I create.
