Tara Hanterman Hairstylist

I began my journey in the beauty industry in 2006 at the Est-Elle Academy of Hair Design in Edmonton. Here I was given the building blocks of the cosmetology world and really found my niche in cutting and colouring. In the summer of '07 I made the move to Saskatoon and began my apprenticeship at the Hairstyle Inn. I found HSI to be a great learning environment where I was able to hone my colour correction skills. I worked hard to earn my Journeyman's certificate and after 3 years with them was ready to move on to bigger and better things. I was given the opportunity by a fellow stylist and friend to join the team at the then brand new Lemon Tree Salon and Studio. Through constant education and the building of a strong knowledgeable team I was able to learn and mature greatly as a stylist. I also acted as a mentor for new apprentices in our salon and that is something I am most proud of from my time at the Tree. After four years there I was ready to take the next big step in my career. As of October 1st I started my new adventure in chair renting at Ruby & Co. I look forward to what this new venture has in store for me and I can't wait to see all your beautiful faces at my new salon!
