Fun fact: Calendula’s name derives from the Latin calendae, referring to its long blooming season while the species name, officinalis, refers to its historical use in apothecaries and pharmacopeias as the official medicinal species of its genus.

Calendula’s “petals” are actually ray florets, which are miniature flowers unto themselves. In the past, we've used these precious petals to top our Coconut Lemon bath bombs.

Place your crystals in the water or on the edge of the tub. Scatter roses and other flowers across the water. Add lemons. (You can also use orange or any other citrus) Use flowers and crystals that represent happiness. Any yellow flowers that you love will work. Sunflowers are a great choice! Take a few deep breaths and let go of your thoughts. Let yourself relax into the water. Imagine yourself surrounded by light and feel the energy emanating from the crystals. Smile. Whether you are feeling down or depressed in the moment, simply smiling, even if it’s fake subconsciously lifts your spirits even if just for a few moments. Let yourself soak for 20-30 min. As you drain the water imagine all your negative emotions, thoughts, worries and anxiety leaving your body into the water and down the drain. Take away with you the bright, sunny energy. Happiness starts from within💫
