Men’s Hair Removal Is More Popular Than You Think!
Last time, I talked about men’s hair removal, and I was really surprised by how popular it actually is!
Want to know which areas men book most often? 🤔
✔️Face: eyebrows, ears and nose.
✔️Back: because it’s almost impossible to shave it yourself.
✔️Chest: especially for those who don’t like the prickly feeling after shaving.
✔️And of course, the intimate area. It’s actually a pretty popular request too.
✔️I also have clients who do sports and come for hair removal on their arms and legs.
So hair removal is definitely not just for women 😊
I’m curious, have any of the men in your life ever tried hair removal? Or do they still prefer a good old razor? 🪒
Men and women often choose hair removal for different reasons. 👥
But in the end, we all want the same thing: to feel comfortable and good in our own skin. 🪷
Thinking about trying it? Send me a message. 😊

🌻 Summer has arrived in our cozy Saint John, and with it comes more outdoor activities! ☀️
🚶♀️ More walks, runs, bike rides, hikes, and time outside.
🚴♀️ One of my clients is an active cyclist. In the summer heat, she started having a common problem: sweat and constant friction caused chafing in sensitive areas.
🔔 I suggested she try Alexandria Professional Body Comfort Drying Powder before her rides.
After using it for a while, she told me she was really happy with the results. Her skin stayed drier, friction was reduced, and the chafing almost disappeared.
Why does this powder work?
🩵 Mineral ingredients help absorb excess moisture.
💜 It helps reduce friction between skin and clothing, or skin against skin.
🧡 Unlike many cornstarch-based powders, mineral powder stays dry longer and is less likely to become pasty in humid conditions.
This isn’t just a product for sugaring treatments. In the summer, it can be helpful for anyone who exercises, stays active, or simply wants to feel more comfortable in the heat. 🪭
Do you ever deal with chafing during the summer? ☀️
Please describe your experience in the comments!

Hair removal often leads to ingrown hairs?
Many people think their skin is the problem. They say, “My skin is like this.”
But did you know the skin is not always the only cause?
What else can cause ingrown hairs?
❣️ Not enough moisture
When skin is not well moisturized, hair can become weak and have a harder time growing through the skin. Daily moisturizing helps both your skin and hair stay healthy and strong.
❣️ Daily habits
Tight clothes like leggings, underwear, jeans with thick seams, or even sock elastic can rub the skin all the time. This pressure can stop weak hairs from growing out. As a result, ingrown hairs can appear. Often, simply wearing looser clothing can help.
❣️ Technique of the specialist
If hair is removed in the wrong direction or breaks during removal, ingrown hairs can also happen.
💜 During my treatments, I always give advice on how to care for the skin and what products to use. This really helps. My clients get clear skin because they follow these recommendations.
🩵 Save this post so you remember the main causes of ingrown hairs!
💚 Book an appointment, I will be happy to help you solve this problem.
Why is the second visit so different from the first? 🤨
One of my clients said, “My second session felt so much easier, and there was less hair!” 💃
I hear comments like this all the time.
Why does this happen?
The answer is in the way hair grows.
The less hair there is, the easier the procedure feels. New hair also grows back softer and finer.
That’s why many clients start seeing real results after their second visit.

Some clients ask me which option is better, studio or mobile?
I’d like to tell you about the two types of appointments I offer 🍃
🌸 The first and main option is appointments at my studio (Friday evening to Monday).
This is perfect for people who want to take a break from home, relax in a calm and comfortable space, and enjoy a different atmosphere. 🛀
Everything is ready before your appointment: the wax and sugar are warmed up, and all supplies are prepared for you.
🌸 Mobile appointments are available Tuesday to Friday, usually during the daytime. For a small travel fee, I can come to your home and do your service in a comfortable and relaxing environment.
This option is great for people who feel uncomfortable in new places or are busy during my studio days.
The biggest advantage is that you can stay comfortable at home. 🏡
The only downside is that I need a little extra time to set up and clean up my materials.
☕️ Choose the option that works best for you and book using the button above ⬆️
Feel free to send me a DM, and I’ll help you choose the best type of appointment for you!
Also, a reminder that my free mobile service promo in Saint John ends on June 10. 🚙
Mobile appointments are now $10, but for clients who already booked, the current price will stay the same until the end of June.
Before every appointment, I ask my clients to complete a short intake form.
In this form, you can share information about your skin condition, sensitivity, and any individual needs 🪷
This helps me prepare in advance and make the treatment as comfortable, safe, and gentle as possible for you 🍃
If you value a personal approach and attention to detail, I would be happy to see you in my studio 💕
Why ingrown hairs happen 👇
It’s not just one reason, it’s a mix:
💡dry skin
💡friction (clothes, sport)
💡tight clothing
💡no proper aftercare
💡sometimes it’s technique
No one-size-fits-all advice. Every case is different.

There are a few things that really affect your results. And they are very simple:
1️⃣ Follow aftercare advices
Hair removal takes off part of the skin’s natural protective layer. It can also make the skin lose moisture and become more sensitive for some time.
Right after the procedure, I use a professional cream to protect your skin.
I also give you advice on what products to use and how often.
But this is usually not enough, you also need to take care of your skin at home between appointments.
This helps your skin stay soft, hydrated, and makes your next visit easier and more comfortable. 🌿
2️⃣ Avoid extra irritation
At each appointment, I ask questions to understand your lifestyle and how it can affect your skin.
For example, tight leggings during workouts can cause ingrown hairs on the legs.
I will be happy to explain how to prevent this and how to take better care of your skin between visits. 🌱
3️⃣ Regular appointments
Each hair is connected to a small blood vessel and a nerve. When we remove the hair, this connection is broken.
If you come regularly, the hair does not have time to grow strong again. It becomes weaker and grows slower.
But if you skip your appointment, the hair becomes strong again. Then the procedure can feel like the first time: more uncomfortable. 🪷
These small things make a big difference! 🫶
And they happen not in the studio, but at home.
Don’t ignore them and you will get smooth, healthy skin! 🪄
