We are home.
It was a long 3 weeks of emotional highs and lows. Still have 6 months of healing to go, but we got this!
Thank you everyone, for all of your positive vibes, they have been a ray of sunshine throughout this ongoing adventure. 🙏❤️🌞

As for me getting back to work, I'm doing a soft come back week of May 12th and back full time May 19th.

Still in hospital, healing great! Staples out. Regulating diabetes and meds for home. Just another nite or 2 to go.
Extending my return to work for mid May.

Update: Hello everyone, my hubby is two weeks in hospital plus a few more days. Hopefully coming home end of week.
I should be returning to work now, first week of May. Hoping to confirm this by end of week. Thank you all for your patience, support and understanding.

Give a gift of being a living donor.
Most of us are born with two kidneys. However, a healthy person can live a normal, healthy life with just one. This means that a healthy person can give a kidney to someone whose kidneys aren’t working. This gift is living kidney donation.

As you all know my husband Rob has been struggling to survive. He was diagnosed with kidney failure a couple years ago. It has been a down hill battle every day since. I'm reaching out today to all of you in hopes that we can find someone to donate their kidney. His lows are "I'm ready to die. Just end it already!." To his highs of "I don't want to die. I want to see Jordan graduate. I want see my grand children."
Enjoying the simple things in life such as watching a movie, eating dinner, taking a stroll is so difficult. Resulting in pain, shortness of breath and nausea, exhaustion. Then, after many hours of tears, feeling stuck in a body that doesn't want to work properly. His hopes and prayers seem to be unanswered.
