Hello! My name is Ellen and I am a local LPN with a passion for helping people stay healthy, active, and comfortable. I graduated from Northern Lakes College in 2018, with honours, as a Licensed Practical Nurse. I then went on to complete the Perioperative Nursing program at MacEwan University in 2021.

Throughout my nursing career, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of healthcare settings, including acute care, long-term care, the operating room, psychiatry, corrections, public health, and most recently finished a sessional teaching contract with Northwestern Polytechnic in their Practical Nursing Program. Each role has strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and has given me a broad perspective on supporting health and wellness at every stage of life.

Before becoming a nurse, I worked as an aesthetician, where I developed a love for foot care and helping people feel their best. Combining that experience with my nursing knowledge has allowed me to pursue a career that I truly enjoy. I believe healthy feet are the foundation of an active, independent life. Our feet carry us through every stage of life, yet they're often overlooked until problems arise. Whether it's relieving discomfort, preventing complications, or promoting overall foot health, I'm passionate about helping my patients stay mobile and continue doing the things they love.

When I'm not caring for patients, I'm a proud mom to four wonderful sons and two amazing stepchildren. My spouse and I enjoy life on our acreage in the County of Northern Lights, We have a Bernese Mountain dog named Bruce, and two cats, named Gary and Kevin. My spouse's family has been in cattle for many decades, and also lives close by.

I'm excited to be joining Sole Solutions and look forward to serving our community. I can't wait to meet you and help you put your best foot forward!

Sole Solutions will be closed from July 31 through August 9 while I take a little time away to rest and recharge.

To better serve our clients, we're upgrading our phone system and officially welcoming part-time administrative support during the week. This means improved communication, faster response times, a friendly face to greet you, and additional support for any retail purchases or questions you may have when visiting the clinic.

Our goal is to make it easier than ever to connect with us and ensure you receive the best possible service.
