Welcome to Kourtney’s Therapy Services,
I am an Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), Athletic Therapist (AT), and Certified Equine Massage Therapist (CEMT). As an Athletic Therapist I can asses and treat any soft tissue injury, and take it from acute post-op to return to life or sport. I use manual therapy techniques and have the ability to use modalities or “machines” such as, Ultrasound, TENS, NMES, IFC, hydrotherapy and thermal therapy. NO, you don't have to be an athlete to see me! Whether you roll an ankle playing soccer or on your kids toys, I can assess and treat the injury just the same! As an RMT I have a therapeutic approach for treating your pain and injuries, more than relaxation/spa type treatment. A Little About myself:
-I graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Athletic Therapy) from Sheridan College in 2012.
-I completed a certification for Equine Massage Therapy in 2012
-I moved to Halifax, NS for two years working as a AT/first responder for equestrian event and in a private therapy clinic.
- I was the head athletic therapist for the Acadia University football team 2013 season.
-I was apart of the 2015 Pan Am games medical team for the Equestrian Athletes.
-I added Massage therapy to my practice in 2018
- I am currently working part time at Headwaters Physiotherapy and part time for myself! I live in Mulmur with my husband (Peter), our young daughter (Josie), our golden retriever (Zoey), horse (Melody) and our lion head bunny (Mary). We also have a yellow lab (Vinny) that is owned by Lions Foundation Dog Guides of Canada. I took on Vincent as a future service dog puppy, he graduated as a breeding stud from the program. So he lives rent free with us and heads to the kennels to “work” a couple times a year! I love animals and have been an equestrian Athlete for over 30 years! I currently still ride and board my horse in Mulmur. I am currently booking appointments a my mobile clinic that is parked at our home in Mulmur, close to the Mansfield ski club. My RMT clinic operates year-round from a dedicated toy hauler trailer, with a private treatment space and is completely separate from the house.
We have heat, AC and, of course, fresh Mulmur air 🍃

Welcome to the trailer 🧡
As a retired Athletic Therapist, my background and treatment style is in injury rehab for soft tissue (muscle, tendon and ligaments).
I specialize in tight muscles, acute and chronic pain. I use a variety of massage and manual techniques and even modalities such as ultrasound and TENS when needed. Home programs for stretching and exercises will also be communicated.
I am not a spa therapist and there is no waterfall music, usually country radio.
That being said, I feel I have grown as an RMT and the flow of full body treatments has become easier for me. (Never in injury rehab would you work on multiple area’s).
I want you to leave your appointment feeling like we met all your expectation’s. So please communicate with me!
My recommendation’s for time
90min -Best for full body = $163
60min -Full body or focused = $115
45min -Focused only = $86

“My knee’s hurt”, has been a common complaint around our house lately.
Her complaints were valid, her quads and hamstrings were so tight!
Don’t underestimate that the little bodies don’t feel muscle pain too!
Things to know about Kid massage:
⭐️ Pick a shorter time - they do get bored or it’s sore and have lower tolerance.
⭐️ They don’t have to undress- just wear light clothing like t-shirt and shorts.
⭐️ I won’t be aggressive- positive experience is the game, we keep it fairly light and moderately uncomfortable (if needed).
⭐️ The parent or guardian can stay with them the entire treatment.
⭐️Happy kids being kids ⭐️
