I’ve explained to so many people how I view my hair days.

It’s the best day there is.
It’s a full day booked for just me, even though it doesn’t take all day, it’s a day dedicated to it.
Waking up so excited because I’ve been counting down till the day.
Making sure I get myself a Starbucks because it’s a “me” day. Showing up early so I’m able to just chill on my phone for a bit before I go in.
Getting to sit and have the best conversations with my stylist.
Having someone else wash your hair. (The best.)
Leaving feeling beautiful & there’s truly nothing that could ruin my day, simply cause it’s hair day.

There’s something so fun about hair day, we look forward to it, we’re so excited for it, we feel so good about ourselves after it, it can be that little thing we do for ourselves to bring the self love back even just a smidge.

And to all of you, knowing that I get to be the reason there’s a countdown till you get it done, or feeling so beautiful cause of the change we’ve done or even just a root coverage, looking forward to grabbing your coffee and coming to yap, filling me in on everything in your lives & continuing a friendship through each appointment. Thank you. For allowing me to be that thing you look forward to, because when I look at how I view my hair days, I’m winning the lottery that I can be the reason you may look at it the same way with me.
