OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE BODY SHOP INTERNATIONAL LIMITED

RE: THE BODY SHOP AT HOME™ IN CANADA
Canada is a very important market for The Body Shop.
In order to support the launch of The Body Shop At Home™ in Canada and ensure the teams we hope to work with have the best systems and processes in place to develop and grow their customer base and sales, we’re currently working on a widescale business transformation that will underpin the entire Consultant experience.
Unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic, like most companies we have had to frequently re-prioritize areas of our business activity over the past two years. As a result we need to pause the Canada launch and can confirm this will not occur in 2022 and cannot provide a further date at this time.
We know that many people who have jumped at the chance to be involved with The Body Shop At Home™ are going to be extremely disappointed that it’s not happening sooner – we do understand why and we really wish we didn’t have to put our Canada plans on pause. We are so lucky to have incredible support for launching The Body Shop At Home™ in Canada – and as soon as we’re ready we’ll be back in touch to talk about how we get those interested up and running as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Our number one priority is to deliver the right experience for everyone involved, including our customers. We are so grateful for your understanding. We will keep our Leaders updated on our plans as we continue this important work.
Please be assured that Consultants and Leaders with whom you may have been in contact in relation to the launch have at all times acted in good faith throughout your interactions with them. They have shared company updates as provided to them by The Body Shop and have been discussing the opportunity in Canada based on this.

**UPDATE**
From the last calls we were on, we were told Q1 for a Canadian launch. That could be (hopefully) January but could be March. We have heard on NO further delays.
The new back office system that all countries will be using is being tested and scheduled to launch in the US this fall. Canada will launch afterwards
The second i know anything about an exact date, i’ll post it on this group.
