Did you know Cindy at Holistic Pain Solutions is just as passionate about volunteerism as she is about her work? ❤️

For years, Cindy has travelled, volunteered and crewed at races — often spending long hours on the road, waiting through the rain, snow and middle-of-the-night hours just to be there when a runner needs support. 🏔️🌧️❄️

This weekend was no different. I had the opportunity to wear two hats — friend and massage therapist — supporting an incredible ultra marathoner through the highs, lows and everything in between.

Massage, sports taping, recovery support, encouragement, snacks… whatever was needed to help keep the runner moving forward.

At Holistic Pain Solutions, I believe in supporting clients beyond the treatment room. Being part of a runner’s journey, seeing the determination behind the miles and knowing that a little support can make a big difference is something I truly love.

The long drives, late nights, unpredictable weather and hours of waiting? Worth every minute. ❤️🏔️

Because sometimes supporting someone means being there long before the finish line — and staying until they cross it.

This weekend, we’re cheering on Vera as she takes on the incredible challenge of the Canadian Death Race—a grueling 118 km mountain run! 🏔️🏃‍♀️

We’ve helped prepare her with pre-race massage therapy, sports taping, and a recovery plan to support her performance and help her bounce back after the finish line.
